The New Front Yard

While the backyard is a great, traditional area for privacy and relaxation, the front yard is often overlooked as a wonderful locale to interact with your landscape and with your community. In this project, we curated landscape and furnishings to invigorate the space right outside the front door. The outdoor furnishings—sleek and modern—are an extension of the client’s design aesthetic. The paved patio is the perfect setting to engage with neighbors and set the scene for building not just beautiful landscapes but also better neighborhoods. Frigid weather slows the decomposition process, but you can maintain a core of heat despite the outer ambient temperature of your compost pile. Read more. »
